A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Burt County Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.

Burt County Criminal History does not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal-record information. It provides general directions to records held by the Burt County Sheriff, County and District Courts, the Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, and the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal records.

Outside companies power the search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention periods, and disclosure practices apply to data entered there, and those practices are beyond our control. Review the provider's policy before submitting a search.

Links can lead to Burt County offices, Nebraska courts, state agencies, legal resources, and outside search tools. Once you follow one, the destination's privacy policy governs the visit. Read that policy before providing personal information.
